Mais Caminhos is an NGO based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who support children and teenagers living in the Pavão-Pavãozinho and Cantagalo Favelas by providing educational opportunities and pastoral care.
In early 2019, Bayswater Foundation committed to funding classes of 12–16-year-olds to take part in an English Programme. 3 years after our partnership was initiated, Louise —our Foundation Project Manager, who is coincidentally Brazilian— had the chance to visit Mais Caminhos for the first time and meet with the students from the classes we started funding back in 2019.
Since 2019, we helped Mais Caminhos provide 2,369 student-weeks for underprivileged students living in the Favelas of Rio de Janeiro.
At Bayswater Foundation we have a one-for-one commitment that when a student signs up, we give a place to someone less fortunate. When you choose to send a student to Bayswater, you choose to #MakeADifference.
